Zorn Leads B'nai B'rith

At B'nai B'rith Great Lakes Region's
annual meeting, John Rofel turned
the gavel over to Steve Zorn.
Zorn was installed along with vice
presidents, Bill Braun, Ilene Kahan,
Stuart Novick, Gilda Kopitz and Dr.
Corey Rodnick (Midland); and
trustees, Ken Bassey, Pam Cohen, Ed
Cohon, Dr. Michael Gellis, Sema
Lazar, Hilary Olson, Marsha Rofel,
Hillary Rubin., Jeff Rubinoff, Ron
White and Ina Zebrak (Midland).
Bobbie Levine, regional program
coordinator, was the installing officer.
Fran White is regional coordinator.
Nita Stearn is administrative assistant.

Yad Ezra Fiesta

Yad Ezra recently hosted an open house
highlighting the Berkley-based kosher
food pantry's operation and warehouse.
Families sorted and boxed donated food
while listening to a salsa band and
enjoying food. There was also enter-
tainment for the children. Co-chairs
for the event were Paul Finkel and Ken
Bernard. Kathy and Paul Finkel spon-
sored the fiesta in memory of Robert
