Chloe Allegra Beck will become a bat
mitzvah on Saturday, June 19, at
Congregation Chaye Olarn. Her par-
ents are Bonnie and Gary Beck. Chloe's
sisters, Lili and Margo, will take part in
the service. Merva and Howard Smith
of New York City ("Nana" and
"Poppy"), and Grandpa Barney Beck of
Long Island are thrilled.
Chloe is an honor
student at
Bloomfield Hills
Middle School.
Included among her
numerous mitzvah
projects are volun-
teering at Bloomin'
Kids Nursery
School, building a
puppet theater for children in a home-
less shelter, helping create a brochure for
the B'nai Kith Cultural Arts
Commission, providing ongoing com-
puter technical support to the staff of
Congregation Chaye Olam and helping
at their Purim carnival.

Emily Paige Drucker and Michael -
Gregory Drucker will be called to the
Torah as b'nai mitz-
vah on Saturday,
June 19, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom. They are
the children of Lori
and Allan Drucker,
younger brother and
sister of Elizabeth.
Their grandparents
are the late Beverly
and Henry Witte,
the late Anna and
Sam Drucker and
the late Paul
Schimmel.
Emily is an honor
student at Hillel
Day School of
Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. Michael
also is a student at Hillel. Both chil-
dren's mitzvah projects included volun-
teering at Yad Ezra in Berkley and join-
ing their seventh-grade classmates at
JARC.

Steven Girson will celebrate his bar
mitzvah at Temple Beth El Saturday,
June 19. Participating in the ceremony
will be his parents, David and Marsha
Girson. His older sister Bonnie will
have an aliyah and younger sister
