She is sorely missed by her grieving family, many of who'm were never privy to this remarkable woman in her lifetime. Imprisoned in the hospital for 6 months fighting the dread disease that ravaged her body, she endured horrific pain and suffering with the courage and optimism to the very end. Mrs. Green was the owner of Birmingham Bead Store and True- Faux Jewelry Store in Birmingham from 1973-1999. She was a member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek and the Birmingham Business Associa- tion and published many books, including the Green Family Cook Book in the early 1970s.
