She was a retired archivist at Temple Beth El and a concert pianist. Mrs. Kushner was a life member of Temple Beth El, member of the Daughters of American Revolution and a graduate of Wayne State University. The family settled in Birmingham in land grant and the property is now part of Crinbrook.
