Religious Scholarships

A bill package removing the pro-
hibition against students of theol-
ogy, divinity and religious educa-
tion receiving grants or scholar-
ships from the state has passed
the Michigan Senate and is on its
way to the governor's desk.
The seven-bill, bipartisan pack-
age was introduced last year to

tion against certain types of aca-
