enise Michelle Anchill and
Ian Stuart Sweet were recently
married at the Somerset Inn
in Troy. Rabbi Norman Roman of
Temple Kol Ami and Cantor Norman
Rose of Temple Emanu-El officiated.
Denise is the daughter of Rhona and
Allan Anchill of Farmington Hills. Ian
is the son of Adrienne and Neal Sweet
of West Bloomfield.
Jennifer Barish, sister of the bride,
was matron of honor. Bridesmaids
included sister of the groom Allison
Sweet, cousin of the bride Laura Lazar
and longtime friends of the bride
Stephanie Lovinger, Jessica Zonder
and Risa Alperin. Molly Isley, cousin
of the groom, was the flower girl.
Eric Sweet, brother of the groom,
was best man. Groomsmen included
brother-in-law of the bride and groom
Ryan Barish and longtime friends of
the groom Jeremy Lewis, Neil
Rosenbaum, Michael Newman and
Scott Corman.

Denise and Ian were thrilled to have
grandmothers of the bride Esther
Pantzer and Evelyn Anchill as well as
grandparents of the groom Jane and
Jack Sweet participate in the ceremo-
ny.
Following their honeymoon in Italy,
the couple reside in Southfield.

zra Wanetik and Rachel
Frankel were married recently
at Yarok Al Hamayim on
Kibbutz Hulda in Israel. They were
joined in this simchah by Leonard and
Ann Wanetik, Chaia Frankel, Devra
Wanetik Stark and her husband
Shalom Stark, and Rachel's brother,
JR Frankel.
In addition, Sophie Wanetik, Ezra's
grandmother, and Lotte Frankel and
Peter Frankel, Rachel's grandmother
and father, listened to the ceremony
by cell phone from their respective
homes.
There were many friends from
Detroit present, including Tom
Wexelburg-Clouser, Barry Kaufman,
Judith Horowitz, Hannah Lewis and
former Detroiter Rabbi Eliezer
Finkelman. Many who have made
aliyah from Detroit were present,
including Miriam Lewis, Shira Traison
and Netyanya Weiss Hoffman.
After the wedding, Ezra and

Rachel's sheva b'rachot were held in
Jerusalem, Manhattan and West
Bloomfield, with subsequent parties in
Manhattan and New jersey.
They have since returned to their
apartment in Jerusalem, where Ezra is
employed with Ramah Camps in
Israel and Rachel works the more tra-
ditional Israeli three jobs.
