Denver. Her mitzvah project included
volunteering in the City of Hope home
restoration project in inner city Denver.
She also volunteered several times at her
school taking care of the younger chil-
dren and she assisted at the Jewish Fed-
eration for the Choices annual event.

Judith Gayle Zatkin, daughter of Laura
and Steven Zatkin and sister of Allie,
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah as she reads
from the Torah at
Havdalah services
Saturday, June 12, at
Temple Israel. Her
proud grandfather is
Richard Zatkin. She
is also the grand-
child of the late
Judith Zatkin, and the late Mary and
George Vermuihen.
Judith is an honor student, who
attends Walled Lake Middle School. As
part of her mitzvah projects, she served
lunch at Ronald McDonald House and
made blankets for the parents to give
their sick children.

Out Of State

Ian Brown Collicott was called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday, June 5,
at Congregation Kadirna in Seattle,
Wash. He is the son
of Susan Rosen-
baum and Tom
Collicott and broth-
er of Alex. He is the
grandson of Char-
lotte Rosenbaum of
Southfield and the
late Irving
Rosenbaum. Ian is
the great-grandson of the late Nellie and
Harry Brown for whom he is named.
Ian is an honor student at Washing-
ton Middle School in Seattle. As part of
his mitzvah program, he was a tutor for
a first-grader in an after-school tutoring
program at his neighborhood elemen-
tary school.

Harris Pike Rollinger of Lexington,
Mass., became a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 15, at Temple Isiah. He
is the son of Robin Pike and Charles
Rollinger and brother of Maxwell. Proud
grandparents are Anita and Sheldon Pike
of Denver, Colo., and Scottsdale, Ariz.,
and Marilyn Rollinger of Bloomfield
Hills. He is also the grandson of the late
Irving Rollinger.
For his mitzvah project, Harris organ-
ized and played team sports with chil-
dren who are physically challenged. He
also organized a dance.
