Jewish community, the Financial
Professionals Group of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit
hosted its inaugural event May 5 in
the home of Rhonda and Gary Ran.
Wall Street money manager and
philanthropist Michael H. Steinhardt
offered a personal account of his rise
in business and his subsequent resolve
to devote his time and fortune to
Israel and Jewish causes. Steinhardt is
chairman of Jewish Renaissance
Media, publisher of the Jewish News.
The Financial Professionals Group
gives individuals in the finance arena
the ability to network and exchange
ideas as well as to gain information
about Federation and its role in serv-
ing the Jewish community.
The host committee for the event
included Scott A. Eisenberg, Dave
Gumenick, Selwyn Isakow, Leo D.
Maxbauer, Mitch Mondry, Robert M.
Rubin, Tom Purther and Ron Yolles.
Federation's 2004 Annual
