Berry is an active supporter of Hebrew University and is responsible for leading AFHU's campaign activities in the Detroit area. A member of the board of governors of Hebrew University and AFHU's National Board of Directors and Council of Trustees, Berry received an honorary fellowship from the Hebrew University at Berry its annual convoca- tion ceremony in Jerusalem last year. He and his wife, Barbara, who sup- port the university through scholarships for undergraduates at the Cohodas Student Center and the Avraham Harman Fund, were awarded AFHU's highest honor, the Scopus Award.
