ulcie Rosenfeld has spent
over 40 years as a volun-
teer. The Bloomfield Hills
resident was honored as
"Activist of the Year" at the Jewish
Community Council of
Metropolitan Detroit's annual meet-
ing on May 19.
"No one could do wrong in pursu-
ing volunteer activities," said
Rosenfeld to a crowd of 200 at the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield. "Looking backwards,
and I really hate to do that, I had a
marvelous time in whatever place,
time or passion claimed my energy.
"Enthusiasm, passion, energy —
whatever you want to call it —
draws people together," she said. "If
you believe in something strongly, it
is magic."

M. Butzel Memorial Award in 1995.
