In, " . tt •Ik.4§0 School Cites Gruenberg Miami (Ohio) University Hillel has selected Justin Gruenberg of West Bloomfield as one of two 2004 recipi- ents of the Nicky S. Spivak Award for Community Enhancement. Gruenberg was chosen for his active involvement in Hillel and his impact on the Oxford, Ohio, and university Jewish communities. Gruenberg did not take part in Jewish life on cam- pus until he went on Gruenbero- a Birthright Israel trip in May 2002. He returned to school in the fall and became active with the Association of Jewish Students as the social chair. He won the presidency in 2003 and helped bring more Jewish students to Hillel and created Jewish programming for the university and the town. He is currently researching funding opportunities for Miami University Hillel. Scene Happenings For college age through 30-something.
