Israel, part of our minds and part of our souls, came alive for
the nearly 600 Metro Detroiters who participated in the recent
Federation Miracle Mission 4, April 18-28. Among them were
15 BBYO advisors and staff, some of whom were visiting the
Jewish State for the first time. The Advisor/Staff Mission was
made possible through a contribution from the Blumenstein
Family Young Adult Mission Fund and through the Oscar and

Under the bus leadership of Michael and Barbara Horowitz
(our Board Vice-Chair) and Mitch and Nancy Kanter, our happy
group of 40 experienced Israel as never before, making many
new friends and sharing unique experiences. Now the challenge
is to bring it all back to the youth whom we serve to encourage
more of them to make an Israel trip part of their personal story!
