Hannah Julia Blume will celebrate her
bat mitzvah at Temple Shir Shalom on
Saturday, May 22. She is the daughter of
Laurie and David Blume, sister of Sarah
and granddaughter of Betty and Donald
Greene, Ellie and
Michael Blume and
the late Marcia
Arnhowitz. Her
proud great-grand-
mother is Rachel
Miller.
Hannah is a stu-
dent at Berkshire
Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills.
Her mitzvah projects include collecting
and donating books to Barbara Lowen's
fourth-grade class at Pepper Elementary
School in Oak Park and working at Yad
Ezra in Berkley.

Ashley and Melissa are seventh-grade
honor students at Norup Middle School
in Oak Park. Their mitzvah projects
include volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Berkley, with the Friendship Circle and
working for the Huntington Woods
Teen Community Service Corps.

Mickey Jacobs, son of Debra and Fred
Jacobs and brother of Allison, will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah on Saturday, May
22 at Temple Israel. His proud grand-
parents are Evelyn and Gerald Kepes,
and Joan and Dr.
Benjamin Stein. He
is also the grand-
child of the late
Sidney R. Jacobs.
Mickey attends
Birmingham
Covington School,
where he is an honor
student. His most
meaningful mitzvah
project began about a year ago, when he
started spending time with a special-
needs child whom met through
Friendship Circle; he intends to contin-
ue these visits. He also delivered food to
homebound residents for Yad Ezra in
Berkley.

Sara Michelle Lebovic will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on. Saturday,
May 22, at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
She is the daughter of Diane and Joey
Lebovic and sister of Rachel. Proud
grandparents are June and Aaron
Coleman and Irene and David Lebovic.
