Jared Matthew Allyn will become a bar
mitzvah Saturday, May 15, at
Congregation Shir Tikvah. He is the
son of Shelly and Arnold Podolsky and
Jeff Allyn and brother of Sarah, Erin and
Gabriel. Sharing in the simchah will be
grandparents Bernice and Albert
Yendick, Rita Wiener of Manalapan;
NJ., Leonard Wiener of Tampa, Fla.,
and Ruth Tobias. Proud great-grand-
mother is Eda Wiener of Miami Beach,

humanity, he has
been a volunteer
assistant all year at
an in-line hockey
class for 6-8-year-
olds at the Jewish
Community Center in Oak Park. He
also helped feed the homeless at
Congregation Shir Tikvah and was a
volunteer photographer at the Crohn's
and Colitis Foundation of America
Michael Yendick Camp Adventure, a
camp for children with Crohn's disease
and colitis.
