morel mushrooms and tomato beurre
fondue.
And have you even eaten almond
crusted calamari appetizer? ... It's a
good Boocoo innovation.

ANOTHER BIG EVENT for
Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer
Institute was its 22nd annual shindig

dinner at Marriott's Wintergarden
Ballroom at the Renaissance Center in

tuxedo shirt as wife Sydell was her

Atkins and South Beach items pre-
pared by a highly talented chef like
Mary have a great taste because of per-
sonal stylings on the low-carb entrees

American Culinary Federation.
Mary's recent addition of South
Beach sea bass amandine, Arctic char a

la Dr. Atkins, grilled halibut Veracruz
and citrus salmon, are prepared by her
with low-carb vegetables and no
starch, which really cuts the numbers.
GOOD SERVER Dept. ... Roxanne
Cook at Bacco Ristorante on
Northwestern Highway in Southfield
... She'll even sing for you ... and her
service, efficiency and courteous per-
sonality are all tremendous assets.
IT'S NOT EVERY golf nut that
can have a tournament named after
him ... Especially one where it takes a
special invitation to be a player.
The first Lee Hoffman Golf
Invitational will celebrate his 80th
birthday June 5 at the Farmington Hills
Golf Club ... given by his and wife
Nettie's children, Beverly and Stuart
Feldheim, Alan and Debra Hoffman,
and Renee and Mark Feinberg. Will
Lee play in it? ... Sure thing, even with
his two knee replacements_
