New Treatments That Can Help

An estimated four million
Americans have Alzheimer's
disease. Over 14 million
Americans will have the disease by
2050 unless a cure is found. Today
there are medications that can
help those with Alzheimer's
disease and dementia.

Michael Traison of West
Bloomfield, a principal with Miller,
Canfield, Paddock and Stone PLC,
co-sponsored the third annual
Academic Israel Conference, "Israel:
the Successes, the Setbacks, the
Road Ahead," at _the University of
Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Beth Greenbaum of Birmingham
has been awarded a residency at the
Ragdale Foundation of Lake Forest,
Ill., for the winter/spring of 2004.
The foundation was established to
provide peaceful, uninterrupted
time for working artists.
