JARC houses on several occasions.

Amanda Nicole Peterman, daughter
of Amy Peterman and Michael
Peterman, will celebrate her bat
mitzvah Friday, May 7, at Temple

vah projects, he spent time at a
JARC residence playing bingo. He
also volunteered at Temple Israel's
Labor Day picnic.

Mara Hanna Israel will celebrate her
bat mitzvah Saturday, May 8, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center. She
is the daughter of Marcie and Ashley
Israel of Farmington Hills, sister of
Ryan, Ron, Joshua and Rachel and
granddaughter of
Jeanette and
Seymour
Weissman of
Bloomfield Hills,
the late Robert
Weinbaum, Pat
and Walter Felman
of London,
England, and the
late Ronald Israel.
She is the great-granddaughter of Fay
Wynbourne of London, England,
and the late Harry Wynbourne.
Mara is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Her mitzvah projects include
support for Farmington Hills-based
JARC and the Beit Lepliyot Girls
Orphanage in Jerusalem.
