National Fund.

Scott Arnold Kirschner will celebrate
his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel
Saturday, April 24, when he is called
to the Torah. His parents are Beth and
Dr. David Kirschner and his sister is
Samantha. His excited grandparents
are Emily and Dan Arnold and Helen
Kirschner. He is
also the grandson
of the late Harold
Kirschner.
Scott attends
Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield,
where he is an
honor student. His
mitzvah projects
included helping seniors at the
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield and volunteering at
Temple Israel during the sheltering of
the homeless.

Joshua Harrison Leider of
Farmington Hills became a bar mitz-
vah Friday, April 16, at Temple Kol
Ami. Participating in the special occa-
sion were his mother, Elizabeth
Leider; father, Mark Leider; and sis-
ters, Rachel and Carly. His proud
grandparents are Cookie and Victor
Koblin and Harriet and Irving Leider
of West Bloomfield.
Joshua is an honor student at
Warner Middle School in Farmington
Hills. For his mitzvah project, he vol-
unteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley, col-
lected food for the Oakland County
food bank and collected clothing,
which he donated to a homeless shel-
ter.

Allison Michelle Rein (Ayelet
Miriam) will be called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah Friday, April 23, at
Temple Shir Shalom. She is the
daughter of Stacie and Jeffrey Rein
and sister of Matthew. Sharing in this
joyous event will be her proud grand-
parents Herbert Goodwin of West
