He was an executive in the motion picture industry. He received his master's degree from Illinois Institute of Technology in pho- tography and trained. as a film lab technician at Technicolor-Chicago before beginning his career locally with Producers Color Service. Mr. Lipner was a co-founder of Image Express creative film boutique. He also helped direct operations at the Film Craft Labs division of Grace & Wild. Recently, Mr. Lipner was pre- sented with a ceremonial slate for great vision and service to the com- munity on behalf of the Detroit Producers Association. Grace & Wild announced the Lee Lipner Scholarship Program, which will annually fund a paid internship in the industry He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pearl Lipner of Southfield; daughter, Lisa Anne Lipner Drostova of San Francisco; sister, Janet M.
