He spent his life working as a finisher in the fur trade of Canada. He was also an hon, ored leader of the Lublinerlansmanshaft. Mrs. Rosenfeld was a founding mem- ber of Temple Israel and held the posi- tion of vice president of youth activi- ties. Associated with Federation for many years, she was a founding mem- ber of the Women's Division, chair of the January Institute, a vice president of education and flit on the planning committee for Blue Book Seminars. At the Jewish Community Center, Mrs. Rosenfeld served as chair of pub- lic relations, chair of the annual book fair, chair of the greenhouse and as secretary and executive vice president. With the National Council of Jewish Women, Mrs. Rosenfeld organized and served as the first advis- er to the Councilettes in 1953. She also acted as chair of social legislation, as president in 1955 and was one of the innovators of the Angel Ball. Two years ago, at age 96, she was elected to serve as president of Brandeis Women in St. Petersburg, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Robert Rosenfeld; sons and daugh- ters-in-law, Richard and Rubyjean Gould of Virginia, Peter and Tami Gould of Chicago; grandchildren, Adam Gould, Tony and Laura Gould, Seth and Karen Gould, Rebecca and Michael McCullom; great-grandchil- dren, Nicholas, Hannah, Andrew, Benjamin, Margaret and Joseph Gould and Kira McCullom.
