DOROTHY "TODY" BARNETT,
85, of Bloomfield Hills, died April 5,
2004.
She is survived by her sons and

was the beloved wife of the late Alvin
Barnett.

ROSABELL SCHUMAN
BERNSTEIN, 89, of West
Bloomfield, died April 5, 2004. She
was an elementary school teacher for
Warren School District for 17 years. A
graduate of Grosse Pointe High
School, she received, in 1929, an
award from the Detroit News as a
champion declaimer. Mrs. Bernstein
received her bachelor's degree from
Wayne State and a master's degree
from the University of Michigan.
She is survived by her husband,
Harold Bernstein of West Bloomfield;
brother and sister-in-law, Michael and
Florence Schuman; sister and broth-
ers-in-law, Denah and David Berman,
Norton Cohen; stepchildren, Lois
Bernstein and Will Vargish, Sheldon
and Prithy Bernstein and Murray
Bernstein. She was the beloved sister
of the late Lorelei Cohen and the late
Herman Schuman.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery.
