hyllis Herzig was there for the
birth of Jewish Family Services
in Ann Arbor and, on March
28, she was one of 400 partic-
ipants who came together for dinner and
dancing at the Crown Plaza in Ann
Arbor to celebrate the organization's
10th anniversary.
For Herzig, who was on the commit-
tee that developed the agency, watching
JFS' growth has been like
watching a child grow up.

became an independent
501(c)3 nonprofit organiza-
