Daniel Pipes Speaks

Professor Daniel Pipes, writer, lec-
turer and expert on the Middle
East, will speak at 7 p.m. Sunday,
May 2, at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek West Bloomfield, B'nai Israel
Center. His topic will be "The
Palestinian-Israeli War — Where
Did It Come
From, How to End
It?"
Pipes, who holds
a Ph.D. in history
from Harvard
University and is
multi-lingual, is
the author of 12
books dealing with Pipes
the Middle East
and Islam, and the
founder and director of the Middle
East Forum.
The talk is sponsored by the
Zionist Organization of America.
Co-sponsors are Aish Detroit, the
Anti-Defamation League, the B'nai
B'rith and Hillel of Metro-Detroit.
Coffee and light refreshments will
be served.
