Jake is an honor student at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills. For
his mitzvah project, he volunteered at
Farmington Hills-based JARC.
Danielle Olivia Sanfield, daughter of
Vivian and Michael Sanfield and sister
of Carly, will celebrate her bat mitzvah
as she reads from the Torah Saturday,
April 3, at Temple Israel. Her proud
grandmothers are Olga Adler and Betty
Sanfield. She is also
the grandchild of
the late Ernest Adler
and the late Jerome
Sanfield.
Danielle is an
honor student at
Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering at Farmington Hills-
based JARC, and helping residents at
their monthly bingo games and at a
Chanukah party. She also assisted at
JARC with a Purim dance.
Melissa Lauren Schneider will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel
Saturday, April 3. Her parents are
Michelle and Steven Schneider and her
sister is Erica. Her grandparents are
Esther and Harold
Radin and Phyllis
and Dr. Paul
Schneider. Sharing
in the simchah will
be her proud grand-
mothers Lillian
Greenblatt, Helen
Radin-Mayer and
Edith Kirschner.
Melissa attends
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, where she is an honor stu-
dent. Her mitzvah projects included
volunteering at the Denby Shelter and
helping nursery school children at
Temple Israel as they celebrated
Thanksgiving. She also donated to the
Gift of Life Foundation.
