was appointed medical director of car-

Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr.
Kahn is a summa cum laude graduate
of the University of Michigan Medical

the Michigan Heart Group PC in
Troy. He practices interventional and
preventive cardiology at Beaumont

Cancer Foundation. He will work to
identify and realize the Detroit insti-
tute's fund-raising goals and interface
with the institute's professional and
scientific staff to encourage increased
participation in foundation initiatives.

gator at Providence Hospital in
Southfield. She will assist women with
health questions and provide resources
to make health care decisions.
Horowitz is a 2002 Nightingale Award
recipient for excellence in nursing edu-
cation from the Oakland University
School of Nursing in Rochester Hills.
