L E N O R E M A R W I L TO OUR FESTIVAL SUPPORTERS:

The JCC Lenore
Marwil Jewish Film Festival expresses its deepest
appreciation to the late Milton Marwil and his fam-
ily, whose generosity makes this wonderful commu-
nity event possible. We also want to give special
THE CENTER thanks to our Festival Sponsor, Park West Gallery,
JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL Their major contribution emphasizes a commitment
to bringing art into all of our lives and to making the Detroit metropolitan area a better
place to live. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Sarah and Harold Gottlieb, whose foresight
in establishing the second year of our ongoing competition that resulted in our selec-
tion of Paper Clips cannot be overstated. We hope to continue this prize for many years
to come. We also thank all of our supporters listed here, and those too late to include,
along with our moviegoers. Truly, without all of you there would be no film festival.

DEAR ANN ARBOR FESTIVAL FILMGOERS

COMMUNITY CENTER (and those yet to discover us): WOW!
Are we ever happy and proud. We are
back! Last year the JCC of Washtenaw County was pleased to be able to bring high-
lights of the JCC Lenore Marwil Jewish Film Festival to Ann Arbor, and even more
pleased to have access to the entire Festival at bargain prices. This year with 34 films in
44 screenings we have once again fallen into a pot of jam! Enjoy the films, the discus-
sions, everything! And let us know what you think. Special Ann Arbor passes are avail-
able at $48 each, a savings of $24! That's last year's prices with three films FREE! Our spe-
cial thanks to the Charles and Rita Gelman Education Foundation and to the Patricia
and Michael Levine Philanthropic Fund for their generous help in bringing this to our two
communities. Enjoy, enjoy!

The attendance last year convinced us that this was something we should do more of,
so we are pleased to bring more great films to you this year, Even though we are a
small community, our Jewish life and our relationships with other communities remains
rich, and this festival will help, we hope, highlight all of them. So come to the Palace
Theatre, bring a friend, get some popcorn and have a wonderful time.

You'll be very glad you did,
