Food For
Thought

My name is Daniel Kohn.

Young writers invited to
make submissions to new
"soup" collection.

I am a freshman at the Jewish
Academy. I am really lucky to
have the kind of teachers I have
at JAMD. During class, I get
plenty of close, personal attention.
The teachers spend a lot of time
getting to know our individual
strengths and improving areas of
weakness. Their support has given
me confidence in my academic
subjects and time to participate in
extracurricular activities. I am
active in our sports and arts
programs. I also devote time to
my youth group and community
service. Even while juggling all
these activities, I have maintained
good grades, discovered new
interests and have become a more
well-rounded member of my
community. And I have my JAMD
teachers to thank!
