SCHEINBACH, 89, of Hallandale, Fla., died March 18, 2004. In the 1960s and 1970s, he was a phar- maceutical manager and the owner of Herman's Plastic Slipcovers in Detroit. He was also a member of Workmen's Circle, member of Habonim, an avid bridge player, Holocaust survivor and was part of the team that created the Holocaust monument at Workmen's Circle. Mr. Scheinbach is sur- vived by his son and daugh- ter-in-law, Ron Scheinbach se and Allison Mori of California; four grandchil- dren. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence Scheinbach; loving father of the late David Scheinbach. Interment at Workmen's Circle Cemetery. He attended school in Detroit, New York and Toronto. After graduating the University of Toronto Dental School, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, stationed in Nova Scotia. He practiced dentistry for 45 years with offices in Detroit and Warren. Dr, Schneider was a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and participat- ed in their many the- ater productions. He had many other inter- ests including golf, stamp collecting, and dahlia growing. He was a longtime member of Schneider Congregation Shaarey Zedek and supported many Jewish charities.
