HERMAN J. SCHEINBACH, 89, of
Hallandale, Fla., died March 18, 2004.
In the 1960s and 1970s, he was a phar-
maceutical manager and the owner of
Herman's Plastic Slipcovers in Detroit.
He was also a member of Workmen's
Circle, member of Habonim, an avid
bridge player, Holocaust survivor and
was part of the team that created the
Holocaust monument at Workmen's
Circle.
Mr. Scheinbach is sur-
vived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Ron Scheinbach
se
and Allison Mori of
California; four grandchil-
dren. He was the beloved husband of
the late Florence Scheinbach; loving
father of the late David Scheinbach.
Interment at Workmen's Circle
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the National Holocaust Memorial
Center or the American Heart
Association. Arrangements by Ira

ALBERT SCHNEIDER, 88, of
Bloomfield Hills, died March 18, 2004.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Donald and Gabrielle
Schneider of Northville; daughters and
sons-in-law, Rita and Kenneth Rochlen
of Bloomfield Hills, Barbara and Harvey
Sherman of Waterford; grandchildren,
Leslie and Jim Martin Rochlen, Beth
and Laurence Zuriff, Aaron and Paula
Rochlen, Elizabeth and Peter Botsford,
Jonathan Sherman; great-grandchildren,
Sophie Zuriff, Jason Zuriff. He was the
beloved husband of the late Sylvia
Schneider.

DR. EDWIN C. SCHNEIDER, 84,
former Detroiter of Palm Beach, Fla.,
died March 8, 2004. He attended school
in Detroit, New York and Toronto. After
graduating the University of Toronto
Dental School, he served in the Royal
Canadian Air Force, stationed in Nova
Scotia.
He practiced dentistry for 45 years
with offices in Detroit and Warren. Dr,
Schneider was a member of Alpha
Omega Dental Fraternity and participat-

ed in their many the-
ater productions. He
had many other inter-
ests including golf,
stamp collecting, and
dahlia growing. He was
a longtime member of
Schneider
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek and supported
many Jewish charities.
Dr. Schneider is survived by his wife
of 10 years, Marilyn "Cookie"
Schneider; children, Paula and Dennis
Jaffe, David and Sheri Schneider, Steven
and Randee Schneider; grandchildren,
Joshua Brian and Jessica Jaffe, Adam
Tobias Jaffe, Peter Grant Schneider, •
Cory Evan Schneider, Aron Mitchell
Schneider. He was the loving husband
for 47 years of the late Maryon Davis
Schneider.

HATTIE SCHWARTZ, 77, of
Southfield, died March 20, 2004. For
40 years, she was the owner of
Invitations By Hattie. She was also a
member of the City of Hope, a past
president of the B'nai B'rith Oakland
Century Lodge, a past president of the
Jewish Women's International, a mem-
ber of Women's American ORT and a
member of Hadassah.
Mrs. Schwartz is survived by her hus-
band, Seymour
Schwartz; sons and
daughter-in-law,
Bennett and Sharon
Schwartz of Bloomfield
Hills, Steven Schwartz
of Farmington Hills;
daughter and son-in-
law, Mindy and Gary
Schwartz
Roberts of West
Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren, Scott and Shauna Schwartz,
Bradley Schwartz, Lindsay Roberts,
Danny Roberts; sister, Esther Gorback
of Farmington Hills. She was the loving
sister of the late Helen Weiss and the
late Anne Fienman; dear sister-in-law of
the late Jack Gorback, the late Edward
Fienman and the late Irving Weiss.
Interment at Nusach Harie Cemetery.
