Bennett Price will become a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, March 27, at
Congregation B'nai Moshe. His par-
ents are Marty and Katie Price. He has a
younger brother Elijah and sister Alexa.
His grandparents are
Maijorie and Julius
Shuster and the late
Barnett Lazarus,
Esther Price and the
late Elliott Price.
Bennett is an
honor student. at
Clifford Smart
Middle School in
Walled Lake. For
the past three years, he has participated
in the Federation Mitzvah Day project
by delivering meals on wheels or volun-
teering at the Sunrise Assisted Living
Center.

Peter Anuar Rothman and Timothy
Talgat Rothman, sons of Diane and
Andrew Rothman, will read from the
Torah on the occasion of their b'nai
mitzvah Saturday, March 27, at Temple
Israel. Their grand-
mother is Ralle
Rothman and they
are also the grand-
sons of the late
William Rothman
and the late Mary
McKay.
Both Peter and
Timothy attend
Peter
Walnut Creek
Middle School in
Walled Lake.
Timothy felt it
meaningful, as part
of his mitzvah proj-
ects, to donate funds
to the Humane
Society. He also vol-
unteered at the
Timothy
Holocaust
Memorial Center in
Farmington Hills.
Peter also volunteered at the
Holocaust Memorial Center and spent
time working at Temple Israel's office.

Robert Edward Sallen, son of Rosellen
and Steven Sallen and brother of
Carolyn and
Lauren, will read
from the Torah on
the occasion of his
bar mitzvah Friday,
March 26, at
Temple Israel.. He is
the grandchild of
Arline Sallen, the

late Robert Sallen and the late Josephine
and Edward Russell.
An honor student.at Orchard Lake
Middle School, Robert found it mean-
ingful to help work with children with
special nee& through the National
-Council of Jewish Women and to vol-
unteer at the Denby Orphanage as part
of his mitzvah projects.

Zachary Michael Spitzer, son of Lisa .
and Randall and big brother of Rachel,
was called to the
Torah at Temple
Emanu-El on
Saturday, March 20.
Proud grandparents
are Miriam and
Samuel Biegun and
Joyce and Joseph
Spitzer.
Zachary is a sev-
enth-grade honor
student at Norup Middle School in
Oak Park. His mitzvah projects includ-
ed being a teen volunteer at the Oak
Park day camp and helping his grand-
parents with chores.

Rebekah Elizabeth Stein, daughter of
Lynn and Stan Stein and sister of Zach,
will be called to the Torah on the occa-
sion of her bat mitzvah Saturday, March
27, at Temple Israel. Her grandparents
are Beverly
Morrison and
Vivian Stein. She is
also the grandchild
of the late Robert
Morrison and the
late Dr. Arthur
Stein.
Rebekah attends
West Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
She chose, as part of her mitzvah proj-
ects, to raise funds for the Tuberous
Sclerosis Alliance and to volunteer at
Temple Israel during the housing of the
homeless project.

Melissa Sarah Rotblatt of Solon, Ohio,
will celebrate her bat mitzvah Sunday,
March 28, at the Mandel Jewish
Community Center
in a service conduct-
