Ryan Neal Victor will celebrate his bar
mitzvah when he is called to the Torah
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield Saturday, March 20. Proud
are parents Gail and Howard Victor and
sisters Heather, Lindsey and Stacey.
Sharing in the simchah will he his
grandmother Helen
Victor. Ryan is also
the grandson of the
late Simon Victor and
the late Phyllis Mall.
Ryan is an honor
student at West Hills
Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. His
mitzvah projects
included helping out at Danto Family
Health Care Center in West
Bloomfield, donating to Yad Ezra in
Berkley and purchasing trees in Israel.
He also found it meaningful to earn
money and donate funds to Mazon to
feed the hungry.

Shaye Alexandra Winer, daughter of
Gini and Richard Winer, celebrated her
bat mitzvah on Saturday, March 13, at
Havdalah services at Temple Israel. Her
brother is Corby and her proud grand-
parents are Carol Bendersky and Robert
Kaufman. She is the
grandchild of the late
Carol Ann Kaufman
and the late Sally and
Barney Weiner.
Shaye is an honor
student at Abbott
Middle School in
West Bloomfield. As
part of her mitzvah
projects, she organized a baby item
drive for the Grace Center of Hope and
was also a volunteer at the Temple Israel
New Year's Eve party.
