Marchione and

Marchione and
the beloved grand-
Shayna

late Sue Weinberger.
Both girls are seventh-grade honor
students at Norup Middle School in
Oak Park. Aviva and Shayna were
counselors at the Temple Emanu-El
nursery school summer camp and
both spent many hours at Yad Ezra
in Berkley.

Jacob Bradley Obron will celebrate
his bar mitzvah Friday, March 5, at
Temple Israel. He is the son of
Lynne and Jeffrey Obron and broth-
er of Elyse. His
grandparents are
Dede Benaderet,
Shirley Obron and
Joe Greenberg and
the late Jerry
Benaderet and the
late Henry Obron.
His late great-
grandparents are
Rose and Bill
Greenberg.
Jacob attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School. His mitzvah projects
included volunteering with the Pet-
A-Pet program, Kadima and Yad
Ezra.

Jay Malcolm Winkler (Moshe
Baruch) will become a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, March 6, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Jay is the son of Bonnie
and Steven Winkler and brother of
Mara and Rodney. Proud grandpar-
ents are Irene and
Jerry Winkler of
West Bloomfield
and Elaine and
Jerry Laker of
Beverly Hills.
Jay is an honor
student at
Birmingham
Berkshire Middle
School in Beverly
Hills. He has participated in many
mitzvah projects with Shaarey
Zedek, including volunteering at
Camp Betman. He plans to continue
his most rewarding mitzvah activity,
teaching karate with Friendship
Circle.
