Attending Dunckel Middle School in Farmington Hills, Aaron chose to donate funds to the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills in memory of his grandparents. Jordan Grace Holmes (Shanda Ginna), daughter of Jack Holmes and Jody Aaron of Southfield, was called to the Torah on Saturday, Feb. 28, to celebrate her bat Mitzvah at Temple Shir Shalom. She is the sister of Joshua, Sara and Carrie, and granddaughter of Mike Aaron and the late Ida Aaron and the late John and Grace Holmes. Jordan is a seventh-grade honor student at Birmingham Covington School. Her mitzvah projects includ- ed collecting toiletries for Haven, canned goods, school supplies, games and books for Lighthouse in Pontiac, and food and toys for Temple Shir Shalom's charitable pro- grams. David Benjamin Inwald became a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. David is the son of Joan and Jay Inwald, and the brother of Rachel and Valerie. Proud grandparents are Susan and Samson Inwald and Olive Fleming. David also is the grandson of the late John Fleming. David is an honor student at Birmingham Covington School. His mitzvah projects included raising money for Habitat for Humanity, volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley and donating to the Haven shelter for abused women and children. Lucy Hannah Keller will become a bat mitzvah at Shabbat services Saturday, March 6, at Congregation Shir Tikvah. Lucy is the daughter of Mark and Helaine Rodin Keller and sister to Jake.
