Married An Angel

Love deepens over 35 years.

A

fter 35 years of marriage, Chuck Tink of
West Bloomfield said he's been married
to an angel -- and his love for her keeps
getting better.
"I thought I loved Anita when we got married and
then when each of our two daughters was born,"
Chuck Tink said. "But I never realized how much I
loved her until the children were grown and on their
own and I had her all to myself. She has given me
the reason to live and brings beauty and love to my
life.
It wasn't that they didn't have their ups and
downs. He said of course there were fights along
the way.°But I never wanted to lose what I had,"
said Tink, a direct mail manufacturing liaison at
Valassis Communications in Livonia.
When asked the secret of maintaining a long lov-
ing marriage, Anita Tink, a bank manager at
Comerica in West Bloomfield, listed four main
