House of Blues," says Gina Gershon in the .
opening narration of the six-part series document-
ing her foray into life on the rock 'n' roll road.
The actress, known for racy movies like Bound
and Showgirls but singing since her teens, had
just opened in Prey For Rock 6 Rog an inde-
• pendent film about a singer-guitarist in an L.A.
punk band, and launched an eight-city musical
tour to promote it.
Gershon isn't sure the tour did the movie any
good, since it disappeared from theaters quickly,
but she figures the documentary might help its
video version; Prey will be released on
DVD/VHS on March 9. ❑
