"THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST" A , its Jan. 27 board meeting, the Jewish Fund approved $2,402,088 in grant pay- ments for 19 primarily health-related programs. The Jewish Fund was created in 1997 from proceeds of the sale of Sinai Hospital to the Detroit Medical Center and has since awarded $24.3 million in grants to expand health and human services to residents of metropolitan Detroit. "The Jewish Fund remains committed to continuing Sinai Hospital's tradition of improving the health and quality of life for individuals in metro- politan Detroit," said David Page, Jewish Page Fund chairman.
