of the late Sol Cicurel.
Jessica is an honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. As part of her mitzvah proj-
ects, she organized a fund-raiser at U.S.
Blades for the Make-a-Wish
Foundation; she also volunteered at
Farmington Hills:based JARC.

Melanie Jayde Kohn will read from the
Torah on the occasion of her bat mitz-
vah Saturday, Feb. 28, at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter of Leslee and Dr.
Mark Kohn and sister of Brianna,
Hannah and Lacey.
Her excited grand-
parents are Roz
Benaim and Phyllis
Kohn. She is also
the grandchild of
the late Alan Kohn
and the late Martin
Sherman.

Melanie attends Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, where she is
an honor student. Her most meaningful
mitzvah project was planning a fund-
raiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
She also visits seniors and brings them
candy.

Zedek Southfield. He is the son of
Hilda and Phil Neuman of Farmington
Hills and brother of
