Q : My son is leaving to study abroad for his
next semester in college. I just put my father
on home hospice and I'm quite certain my son
will be out of the country when Dad dies. Any
suggestions to help alleviate my son's discomfort
with being away at such a time?

A: Have your son record the thoughts he wants

conveyed to the Rabbi, or spoken on his behalf
at the funeral. Also, we can do'a phone hook-up
anywhere in the world, so he could listen to the
funeral service as it is happening.
