Baylee and Joseph Shulman of
Franklin, Rachel and Henri Azaria of
Ramat Hasharon, Israel, and Gil and
Sher Franklin of Mesa, Ariz. His
great-grandmother is Julia Azaria of
Tel Aviv, Israel. Jonathan was named
for his great-grandfather the late
Nathan Milstein.

Ian Charles Deutch will celebrate his
bar mitzvah Saturday, Feb. 21, at Tem-
ple Beth El. He is the son of Audrey
Deutch and Gordon Deutch and broth-
er of Mara. Ian is the grandson of the
late Miklos and Maria Foltyn and the
late Harry and
Shirley Deutch.
Ian is a student at
Berkshire Middle
School in Beverly
Hills. As part of his
mitzvah project, he
is a student aide at
temple and helps in
the religious school
office in various capacities. He also vol-
unteered in the latchkey program at
Greenfield School.
