WEDDING
DETAILS

MOTHER-OF- THE-BRIDE: Janice Cherkasky, of
Gourmet Parties of Franklin, chose these local profes-
sionals.

FLOWERS: Bruce Bolton, Breath of Spring,
Bloomfield Hills.
According to the mother and daughter, Bolton took a
vision and made it a reality.

LINENS: Party Linens, Bloomfield Hills, for the ball-
room. BBJ Linens for the atrium area.

WEDDING CAKE: Vince McCormick created a
chocolate mosaic sculpture cake of white and dark
chocolate tiles with a banana cake filling.

BRIDAL GOWN: Vera Wang dress, Alvin's Bridal
Salon, St. Clair Shores.

BRIDESMAID DRESSES: Two-piece strapless
gowns, Guys 'N Gals, West Bloomfield.

HAIR: Michael of MarioMax, West Bloomfield.

MAKEUP: Diana Boesky of MarioMax, West
Bloomfield.

INVITATIONS: Purchased at Gourmet Parties. The
ivory linen invitation by C'est Papier featured an ivory
moire envelope liner. Calligrapher Vicky Corwin wrote
the name of each guest in the body of the invitation.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Michael Jonas, Birmingham.

VIDEOGRAPHY: David Newman, Newman Video,
Farmington Hills.

BRIDAL DAY COORDINATOR: Ida Nemzin, West
Bloomfield.

CLERGY: Temple Israel's Rabbi Loss and Cantor
Corsin.

LOCATION: Temple Israel

FOOD: Matt Prentice created an Asian-inspired
menu. The appetizers included a rice bar, yakatori
station, potstickers and some traditional hors d'oeu-
vres. The entree was filet mignon with zip sauce,
stuffed prawns, sweet potato hay and roasted peapods.

MUSIC: Rumplestiltsken of Chicago.

VALET: Star Trax, Southfield.

SPECIAL TOUCHES: Mandell Design provided an
ivory lace ceiling cover with Italian lights by Pegasus
Theatrical. All the groomsmen wore suede kippot with
the University of Illinois insignia. All the women at the
ceremony received an embroidered white hanky, pur-
chased by Janice from a flea market.
