We Get Questions

Q : Is it true that, when transferring someone

across state lines, embalming is required by
state law and/or the airlines?

A: When we transfer across state lines, embalm-

ing is EXTREMELY rare. Our colleagues from
JFDA (Jewish Funeral Directors of America)
are very knowledgeable about transferring quickly
and capably, while honoring our tradition of
no embalmin g.
