This site for children includes lots of great games like Hebrew Word Match, AlephBet Puzzle and Hangduke (a hangman-like game with the names of famous biblical figures). 2) www.akhlah .corn Another fun-and-games spot for chil- dren, including the Israeli City of the Week, the Jewish Hero of the Week and the Children's Parsha. 3) www.torahtots.com Users of dial-up Internet will be frus- trated by how long this graphic-heavy site can take to load. Also, watch for a heavy dose of "Come to our gift shop!" Other than these, however, Torah Tots does include fun and useful information for children, including Safety Tips and This Month in Jewish History. 4) www.uscj.org/ Raising Jewish_Childtt.html This features 10 great tips for parents on how to raise Jewish children, written by Ron Isaacs. This is part of a site from the Conservative movement's United Synagogue Youth. 5) wwwhomeschooling-course.com/ courses/empathy.html This unusual site allows parents to take a class, via computer, on raising children. It is "taught" by Shuli Kleinman and incorporates ideas advo- cated by former Detroiter Miriam Adahan, whose books are extremely popular in Israel. Classes cost between $10 and $28.
