Gossip Lecture

At its spring fund-raiser
luncheon, billed as "The
Talk of the Town," the
Women's Campaign and
Education Department
of the Jewish Federation
of Metropolitan Detroit
will present Lori
Palatnik
Palatnik, Jewish educator
and author of Gossip: Ten Pathways to
Eliminate It from Your Life and
Transform Your Soul. The event will be
Monday, March 1, at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. Registration will begin at
11 a.m.; lunch and the program will run
from noon to 1:30 p.m.

radio and television talk shows, and
hosted a Toronto television show called
The Jewish Journal.
Event co-chairs are Barbara Nemer
and Amy Willens. Women's Campaign
chair is Nancy Jacobson; associate chair,
Susie Pappas. Women's Campaign and
Education Department president is
Nancy Grosfeld.
A minimum $118 women's pledge to
Federation's Annual Campaign 2004 is
required to attend the event, plus a $36
admission fee, which includes the pro-
