Robert Deal, 39, of Waterford, died
January 11, 2004.

He is survived by his loving par-
ents, Hyman and Beverly Deal
of Oak Park, sisters and brothers-in-law,
Barbara and John Whitaker of Santa
Rosa, CA, Denise•and David Kamber
of Waterford, adoring nieces, Anna
Whitaker, and Anna and Sarah Kamber, Aunts, Arlene
Weinberger and Sally Deal, and Uncles Samuel Deal and
Marshall Waldman. He was also survived by his loving
extended family and friends.

Brenda Kelly; great-grandchildren,
Danielle, Bryan, Bradley, Matthew,
Connor and Ethan. She was the beloved
wife of the late Dr. Alvin Graff.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may be

Robert was the grandson of the late Isedore and
Anna Deal, and George and Anne Waldman. Robert was
full of life. He was a dog lover who was always busy
going and doing things. He was not one to sit around.
He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing with his Dad.

To his little nieces he was "Uncle Bobby." He was as
crazy for them as they were for him. When he walked
into a room, the kids were all over him. He really played
with them and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was the one people called when they needed help.
He would do anything for anyone and never expected
anything in return. Robert truly enjoyed his work as a
Senior Engineering Technician at TRW Automotive.
He was very devoted to his work.

Dec. 26, 2003. He was an electronic
engineer. During World War II, he was
a communications officer in the Air
Force, teaching radio at Yale University;
he also was stationed in the Pacific area.
Mr. Hoffer was very active in the ama-
teur radio field.
