Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Jake Ellis Dangovian will read from the
Torah on the occasion of his bar mitz-
vah Friday, Jan. 23, at Temple Israel.
His parents are
Pamela and Dr.
Michael Dangovian
and his sister is
Marissa. His excited
grandparents are
Lorraine and Alfred
Dangovian and
Eileen Bluestone.
He is also the grand-
child of the late
Sydney Bluestone.
Jake attends Derby Middle School in
Birmingham. He volunteered at Yad
Ezra in Berkley and donated funds to
Red Magen David Adom as part of his
mitzvah projects.

Lauren Aimee Gottlieb will become bat
mitzvah at Shabbat services Saturday,
Jan. 24, at Temple Emanu-El. She is the
daughter of Lisa and Stephen Gottlieb
