RABBI LOUIS MILGROM, 94, of

St. Louis Park, Minn., died Jan. 5,
2004. Rabbi Milgrom attended and
graduated Hebrew Theological College
in Chicago and the Illinois Institute of
Technology.
He was a synagogue rabbi in Joliet,
Ill., and then went on to become a
chaplain for the eighth Air Force serv-
ing in Germany and England. He was
the Hillel Director at the University of
Manitoba for three years and at the
University of Minnesota for 27 years.
He taught and held the Phillip's Chair
for Jewish Studies at the University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire for 13 years.
Rabbi Milgrom is survived by his
wife, Esther, of St. Louis Park; daugh-
ter, Shirley Milgrom of Boston; sons
and daughters-in-law, Hedy and
Michael Milgrom of Cleveland, Ohio,
Aaron
