Shoshana Helen Hirschhorn of West Bloomfield will be called to the Torah at a bat mitzvah at Adat Shalom Synagogue on Saturday, Jan. 10. She is the daughter of Dr. Susan Sherman and William Hirschhorn and the sister of Rebecca and Max Hirschhorn. Her proud grandparents Morris and Frances Sherman and Hilda Hirschhorn will share in the simchah. Shoshana is also the grand- daughter of the late Leo Hirschhorn. Shoshana attends Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield, where she is an honor student. As part of her mitzvah project, Shoshana volunteered at Fleischman Residence in West Bloomfield. Jordan Russell Hoffman celebrated his bar mitzvah Monday, Dec. 29, on Mt. Masada in Israel. Celebrating with him were his proud parents, Paul and Rhonda Hoffman, and sis- ter Madeline.
