He received his bachelor of science degree from University of Scranton in Pennsylvania and his juris doctor from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Mr. Adler was one of the attorneys who went to the U.S. Supreme Court to argue a labor case for the Detroit Police Officers Association. In 1972, he went into private practice, associat- ed with Fred Freeman, Bernard Abrams, Lawrence Pepper and Lawrence Immerman. Mr. Adler was an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Arbitration Association and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services. He was affiliated with Temple Kol Ami. Mr. Adler is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lucille Adler; sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Dana Adler of Ohio, E.
