ALICE ABRAMS, 76, of Royal Oak,

died Dec. 28, 2003.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Ronald and Helen
Abrams of West Bloomfield; daughter
and son-in-law, Diane and David
Brossart of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brother,
Norman Meke of Pennsylvania; grand-
children, Brian (Susan) Abrams, Jason
Abrams, Eric Brossart and Justin
Brossart; great-granddaughter, Emily.

SHELDON H. ADLER, 65, of West

Bloomfield, died Dec. 26, 2003. He
received his bachelor of science
degree from University of Scranton in
Pennsylvania and his juris doctor
from the University of Louisville in
Kentucky.
Mr. Adler was one of the attorneys
who went to the U.S. Supreme Court
to argue a labor case for the Detroit
Police Officers Association. In 1972,
he went into private practice, associat-
ed with Fred Freeman, Bernard
Abrams, Lawrence Pepper and
Lawrence Immerman. Mr. Adler was
an active member of the State Bar of
Michigan, the American Arbitration
Association and the Federal Mediation
and Conciliation Services. He was
affiliated with Temple Kol Ami.
Mr. Adler is survived by his wife of
42 years, Lucille Adler; sons and
daughters-in-law, Brent and Dana
Adler of Ohio, E. Scott Adler and
Pam Antell of Colorado; grandchil-
dren, Anna, Samson and Rose Adler;
brother and sister-in-law, Irwin and
Donna Adler of Pennsylvania; broth-
ers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert
and Marcia Schmier and Miles and
Elaine Berman.

EMORY J. BLACK, 94, of

Southfield, died Dec. 24, 2003. He
was a men's and boys' manufacturers
representative, covering the state of
Michigan.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife,

Cary Black of Southfield, Dr. Roger and
Leslie Black of Farmington Hills; grand-
sons, Andrew Black and Daniel Black.

a school librarian.

Lebold. She was the beloved wife of
the late Max Carp.

Detroiter of Los Angeles, died Dec.
21, 2003. With his late brother, Irving
L. Field, Mr. Field owned Walker's
Men's Clothing in Southfield and
Johnnie Walker Style Center in
Detroit.

BERG, 67, of Bloomfield Hills, died

Dec. 17, 2003. He was an automotive
sales manager and a home improve-
ment contractor. He also coached and
managed Franklin Little League and

Pontiac Class A Baseball and was a
member of Temple Israel.
Mr. Goldberg is survived by his

was the head of purchasing at
Seligman and Associates and worked
with Irving Seligman for over 40 years.
She was also a member of Hadassah
and Temple Israel Treasures.
Mrs. Green is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and
Robert Piranio of West Bloomfield,
Sydney and Gary Hack of California;

Hack. She was the beloved wife of the
late Leslie Green; dear sister of the late
