Iraq, 19 fifth- through seventh-graders in the Kadima youth group at
Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield met Dec. 8 to make hand-
decorated letters to accompany gifts they donated of Jewish music CDs and
warm, wool boot socks.
Sixth-graders Erin Betman and Beth Khinchuk, both of West Bloomfield,
work hard on theirs, above.

Program Offered

Lifelong Learning
Classes Set

Jewish Family Service will host a
stress management program, begin-
ning Wednesday, Jan. 14. Meeting
on Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m., partic-
ipants in the 12-week series will
learn to incorporate relaxation tech-
niques into their daily lives.
The free program will be conduct-
ed by Ellen Blau and will take place
at the JFS West Bloomfield office,
6960 Orchard Lake Road. Blau is a
health educator who has worked
with people suffering from stress-
related illnesses for more than a
decade.
Group size is limited to allow for
individual attention. To register, call

winter/spring semester of lifelong
learning classes being offered by the
Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit's Alliance for Jewish
Education. Classes begin Jan. 12.
