Sheryl (Zeldes) and Patrick O'Loughlin
of Oakland, Calif., happily welcome
with love the birth of their son, Gavin
Michael. Also overjoyed is big brother
Connor. Thrilled grandparents are
Beverly and Martin Zeldes of
Bloomfield Hills and Noleen and Steve
O'Loughlin of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
Maternal great-grandmother is Sarah
Zeldes of Bloomfield Hills. Gavin
Michael was named in honor of Sheryl's
special brother Michael.

DeAnn (Cowan) and David Lutz wel-
come with much love the birth of their
son, Benjamin Edward (Binyamin
Eitan). Excited big sisters are Zoey, 5,
and Sophie, 3. Sharing in their joy are

Josi (Lee) and Keith Brookenthal wel-

daughter, Mia Rebecca (Miriam Rifka).

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Alec Hirsh Cohen will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Dec. 20, at Temple Beth El. He is the
son of Cindy Cohen and the late Jot
