So tiny and soft and
yummy; even after
they've been in socks all day those lit-
de toes are nothing but stinky sweet.
By the time those feet reach fourth-
grade status however, they're just ordi-
nary feet — possibly in search of cool
socks or high-priced sneakers.
Definitely not kissing material. That's
why it's best to remember those baby
feet for as long as you can, which is
just what a group of parents did last
week for Shalom Baby's, 'A Chanukah
Happening for You and Your Baby!"

The event, sponsored by the Jewish
Federation's Women's Campaign and
Education Department, gave moms
the opportunity to get a head start on
Chanukah with arts and crafts, kosher
snacks and a sing-along with Lisa
Soble Siegmann of the Alliance for
Jewish Education's Jewish Experience
For Families.
Thanks to You're Fired Homemade
Ceramics, moms also made keepsake
footprint tiles and plates of their
baby's feet.
More than 60 moms and 60 tiny
ones attended the event, which was
coordinated by Amy Carson Schlussel
and Margot Shapiro, co-chairs of
Shalom Baby. 11
